Apoptosis
Installed on ceilings
of the schools’ halls
WiFi routers shower rays
of raw radiation upon
the baby fat filled faces
of radiant potential
Poisonous seeds thrown
like rice at a wedding
the bride an ideology
and the groom its eulogy
If we don’t melt the reactor
pumping the world wide pimps
we'll gaze glazed and graceless
at the computer cables
draped over graduation gowns
like so many honor cords
and long for the days
when social media
was our biggest problem
rather than the last thing
that held us together
